Yuga Labs Launches HV-MTL, a New Mech NFT Series

Yuga Labs, the mastermind behind the highly acclaimed Bored Ape Yacht Club, has recently launched a fresh NFT collection dubbed HV-MTL using an exclusive summoning technique. The collection offers a unique feature where Sewer Pass NFT owners can exchange them for robotic creatures called “Mechs,” but only at the cost of sacrificing their Sewer Pass NFTs, rendering them obsolete.

HV-MTL represents a collection of unique digital assets in the form of non-fungible tokens depicting mechanized creatures summoned from a portal beyond the Bored Ape Yacht Club’s space-time continuum. These creatures, referred to as “HV,” initially exist as cores and can be transformed into diverse variations that adapt to their surroundings once they are unlocked.

According to Yuga Laboratories, the Sewer Passes employed in the web game Dookey Dash, an infinite runner, will be turned into a mechanical companion for the apes of the Bored Ape Yacht Club members.

Nonetheless, several individuals have voiced worries about issues with the HV-MTL information and the omission of some “companion” qualities. In response, Yuga Laboratories concurred, acknowledging the prevalence of these vulnerabilities and promising to dig into them.

As a result, the Yuga Labs team has temporarily disabled the attribute from the dataset, planning to release a new data set after the issue has been resolved. After some time, the Bored Ape Yacht Club tweeted that they had rectified the issue with the companion characteristic not appearing correctly on HV-MTL power sources. They also asserted that they had overhauled the metadata and included the functionality in the collection.

Bored Ape NFT Frenzy Brings Rise in Scams

The recent NFT drop from Bored Ape Yacht Club has generated a lot of excitement and attention among collectors. However, with increased attention comes a need for caution, as scammers are now posing as members of the club and sharing links to malicious websites.

To avoid falling into their trap, individuals must be vigilant and take precautions before interacting with any links or websites associated with the Bored Ape NFT drop.

Further, verifying the authenticity of any links or websites by checking with official sources and never sharing sensitive information is recommended. By maintaining a state of vigilance and caution, collectors may prevent themselves from being taken advantage of and guarantee that they are dealing with reputable sources.
