Legendary Musician Snoop Dogg Stretches His Crypto Footprint with NFT Collection on Cardano

Legendary musician Snoop Dogg expands his presence in the crypto space once more. The hip-hop star collaborated with Clay nation to introduce a non-fungible token collect on Cardano. Clay Nation comprises about 10,000 NFT characters created from clay. For now, the collection remains sold out, but the secondary market has the tokens boasting a $2696 ADA floor price, equal to $2,623.03.

Clay nation revealed the collaboration with Snoop and a cryptocurrency trade Champ Medici. Meanwhile, the project would feature unreleased music, collectibles, and Clay Nation land plots. Last week, the rapper appeared on Twitter space with Medici and Cardano’s CEO Charles Hoskinson.

The singer suggested collaborating with Hoskinson to form a crypto involvement guide. Snoop Dogg belies that teaming up would help the globe understand cryptocurrency.

The hip hop space remained involved in various crypto and NFT projects in 2022, plus other tech investments. GlobalBlock’s analysts Marcus Sotiriou commented, stating that Snoop was the first celebrity to join Cardano from Ethereum, a move translating to increased hype. Meanwhile, the musician seems to have fun with the new identity of the music space. Snoop released a new music video made in the Sandbox (SAND) Metaverse.

Snoop Dogg was among the early investors in the retail trading network Robinhood and the social platform Reddit. Also, he invested in Klarna, a Swedish payments firm. These are some of the projects in his investment profile.

Recently, he joined several celebrities investing in Moon Pay, a firm that allows users to buy crypto smoothly vas bank transfer or card. Also, Cruchbase data shows Snoop Dogg is among the 37 individuals to invest in BAYC’s Yuga Labs.

Meanwhile, Snoop is among the first celebrities to go beyond the ETH blockchain. Ethereum remains the dominant ecosystem for NFT, but it may see challenges with the likes of Cardano and Solana developing to ensure cheaper gas fees.
