Among such people is the founder and CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, who has proven to be a real Bitcoin-pro in recent years. He has made sure that his platform serves as one of the mediums of bringing a huge following towards the cryptocurrency sector.

Not only this, he has even incorporated cryptocurrencies on the Twitter platform in a very unique manner. He has used a common functionality such as upvoting or liking and has changed it into a tipping system. Now, the users on Twitter can either tip others or get tipped by others in cryptocurrencies.

Now, Twitter has made it official that the users will be able to use the tipping jar feature made available through the platform. The announcement in regards to the implementation of the tipping jar functionality was made through a blog post on Thursday, September 23, 2021.

The announcement was reportedly made by Esther Crawford, the product manager at Twitter. While making the announcement, Crawford revealed that for now, the tipping feature for cryptocurrencies would be available for iOS users. It does not matter where they are based geologically, they will be able to use the feature if they are using the iOS operating system.

Crawford asked the android users not to worry about not being able to use the feature at all. They are currently working on the rollout of the tipping jar feature for android users. He stated that the rolling out process may take up to a few weeks, but it will be put in place soon.
